Finally finished my reference sheet for this hunk. My entry for

Took me a while to finish, but have to say I am super excited for entering my FIRST OC tournament.

Personality: Kowai is a strong silent type. He doesn’t say that much to other people because he doesn’t really trust anyone besides Kiraii. Really, on the inside he is still a young kid with the ambition to be a superhero. Kowai is someone that requires a lot of time before he opens up to anyone and he will go into a blood rage if he sees someone pick on those weaker than themselves. In his relationship with Kiraii, he is the adult and is more mature.
When he was a kid, Kowai always wanted to be a superhero like Kamen Rider or Super Sentai. As a teenager he never lost that ambition, though it took a backseat to some of his bigger interests...such as women. One day, when he was delivering a pizza, he met a beautiful woman at the delivery of said pizza. The woman, noticing that she captured his mind, invited him into her house. Kowai went into her house, thinking he would get some sort of treat. Unfortunately for him, it was one of the most horrible tricks one could pull. She immediately knocked him out when he entered through the door and dragged him into her laboratory. The, he woke up with a fright to find himself on a dissection table and screamed for help. He did this for many many months, as she experimented on his body, doing various horrible things to him until he passed out. Every moment he was awake, it was a nightmare. This situation continued for what seemed like 11 months until another unwitting pizza delivery guy ended up at her doorstep. He was dragged to the lab on a second dissection table next to Kowai. Resolving to ensure that no-one else should suffer the way he did, even if it cost him his own life. So he devised a plan for the second guy to escape. When she performed her latest experiment on him, Kowai sprung his trap and killed the women. When the second subject woke up, he started screaming. Kowai told him that there was nothing more to fear, but the second subject kept on screaming and yelled,”MONSTER!!!” Kowai released the second subject, who kept a scalpel pointed at Kowai as he ran away. Kowai wondered what the second subject was screaming at. He then walked towards a mirror. He was horrified to see the thing he had resolved to fight as a child....A MONSTER. He then covered his body up so that nothing below his nose could be seen, and walked out into the world. He was shocked to learn that he was actually in the lab for 5 years and 11 months and that his world was completely changed. It was Christmas....
Since then, Kowai has gone to the Mansion of Madness, a place where all “monsters” go to recuperate themselves and to face their new found abilities. Kowai spent a long time being trained by the last Werewolf named Klein( a tough old man with rigorous training) in order to control his strength. He also participated in experiments by Charlie in order to change his appearance to be more “human-like”. Currently, he is the bodyguard of the Mansion of Madness and is dating Kiraii.
While his skin is tougher than most humans (blocking normal firearms, strong hits, and minor energy blasts) if you attack him enough in one place, or use an abnormal attack, you can easily penetrate his skin. So, in order to keep up with other more powerful people he uses his extreme agility (which almost looks like he is swimming on the battlefield) and a special martial art that is a combination of Jeet Kune Do and Krav Maga. This technique is more about controlling his opponents strength and using it against them. He himself only has just above average human strength, and his strongest attribute is his legs(which are extremely durable and strong). Usually he eggs the opponent into using their stronger attack by acting like their normal attacks don’t even phase him(even if they do). He also has a special energy redirection technique using the gill like holes he can make appear in the palm of his hands.
One of the special “operations” performed on Kowai gave him the ability to make “teeth” appear anywhere on his body. The appearance of these teeth usually causes pain to Kowai, so he only uses them in short controlled bursts. He is able to also shoot these “teeth” as a fast moving sharp projectile. The “teeth” are stronger than steel, but anything that is magical, enchanted, or a special metal should be able to cut through them. The “teeth” can extend up to 10ft. so anything with in that radius is at risk for attack. He can also create as many teeth as he wants, but his limit for making them due to pain is 5 5ft “teeth”.
Though he appears like a human/shark hybrid normally, he can still transform into his “True” appearance when necessary. He also gains enormous strength, as well as the ability to make his “teeth appear anywhere on his body. The biggest disadvantage to this form is that it causes enormous pain to Kowai and makes it pretty much impossible to see anything. He usually retains consciousness for the first 5 minutes of turning into this form, but after that he becomes a mindless monster due to the pain.
The most powerful weapon in Kowai’s arsenal, the monster sword is a special sword that is stronger and sharper than a sword made of carbon nanofiber and lighter than steel. It takes away Kowai’s strong bones so that he has the defense of a normal human. He calls it the monster sword, because it takes away alll of the strange things in his body and makes himself a normal human. He would like to use this weapon, but he can only use it as a last resort due to the way the hilt works. The Hilt allows him to pull out the abnormal bones in his body, and form them into a stong, sharp, compressed blade. The hilt only activates when it is guarenteed that Kowai will die within a timespan of 1 hour-3 days. Any later than that and there is not need for the sword, any sooner than that and it causes too much pain to the user to be used.
